We, the undersigned residents of Spring Valley, NY, petition the Village of Spring Valley, the Mayor and the Village Board to enact a two-year moratorium on all rezoning, application processing, permitting and construction within the village while the community considers and potentially adopts changes to its comprehensive plan and/or its land use regulations. This moratorium is necessary and overdue to address the intended and unintended consequences of the current level of growth being experienced in Spring Valley.
